2025 vs 2026 Prospects

Just to give us a sense of scale on how we are measuring players, here's a little something we can do: How do you compare the top 10 of 2025 vs the prospective top 10 of 2026?

So Flagg, Harper, Edgecombe, Knueppel, Bailey, Tre Johnson, Fears, Demin, CMB, Maluach

vs Dybantsa, Peterson, Boozer, Wilson, Acuff, Wagler, Flemings, Burries, Brown, Lendeborg/Philon

I think it goes - Flagg, Dybantsa, Peterson, Harper, Boozer, Knueppel, Edgecombe, Wilson, Bailey, Acuff, Wagler, Tre Johnson, Burries, Flemings, CMB, Brown, Fears, Demin, Maluach, Lendeborg/Philon

Where do you think the guards in this years draft would’ve gone in last years draft?

The guards we can possibly get at 6 :Wagler, Acuff,MBJ, Flemings etc.

Please basketball Gods bless us in the lottery today

I’m 32 and have been following the Nets since I was 8 years old in 2002 and since then I’ve reflected on how unlucky this franchise has been :

- our draft history in the 2000s only netted 2 maybe 3 above average to all star players :(Kmart, Nenad Kristic, and Brook Lopez

- lost in the finals twice with Kmart

- When Kristic was turning the corner and could’ve helped us become at least dark horse contenders he tore his ACL in 06

- We went in 12-70 and didn’t get the first pick

-When we had Dwill , KG, Joe Jesus and Pierce: Brook Lopez was out for the 2013-14 playoffs…. Who knows what difference he could’ve made.

- fast forward to the big 3 , it took a once and a lifetime pandemic plus a dirty play (Giannis) for us not to get a ring and implode.

-falling 8th last year as well even though I’m excited for Egor

With all that being said we are OVERDUE for some luck let’s hope we get a top 3 pick tomorrow. Let’s go Nets!

-Fall to sixth in the 2026 NBA draft….

He did it 10 years ago , and now a decade later with many different variations of his celly from NBA players throughout that time period: I can’t think of any other celly in NBA history that’s had the impact/longevity of “ice in my veins”
