the "predictions" stuff is EVERYWHERE. every jan these ppl drop a bunch of doom forecasts then news sites run "omg it ALREADY came true!!" articles. this yr the big one was some medium who "predicted" earthquakes in asia + the us west coast, then they pointed to the like 100 quakes that happened in the first week of jan as proof. bruh there r always a ton of quakes every week thats just. the earth. but ok spooky headline i guess. the classic dead guys get pulled out for the same thing every yr too, basically glued onto whatever war is trending

but the actual paid service side is the part i actually have experience with. these platforms have been running fr decades doing phone + chat readings, n theres this whole thing w "free reading!!" "free chat!!" offers that r really just intro credits to reel u in before the per minute meter starts eating ur wallet. so i went in expecting to feel scammed ngl

but honestly?? it was worth it for me. idk if i fully "believe" or whatever but the session gave me smth to think abt n it kinda hit different than talking to friends who already know all my business. its giving vibes based therapy w a crystal ball on top n sometimes thats exactly what u need

I've seen so many different takes on the lovers tarot that I'm not even sure what to make of it anymore. Some people say it's basically a relationship card, others barely mention romance at all.

I'm more interested in how people who've actually been reading tarot for a while see it. Has the meaning changed for you over time?

not against paying when I find someone I really like, but sometimes I just want a quick free tarot reading without turning it into a whole thing.

I feel like it used to be way easier to find decent free ones. Now everything either leads to a paywall or asks you to book a session before you even get anything.

random thought I keep circling back to. when I was a kid in the late 90s my mom was deep in the psychic hotlines era, full miss cleo infomercial energy, she'd be on the phone for an hour straight running up the bill while I watched cartoons in the other room. she eventually quit cold turkey once the credit card statements started getting scary but it was a whole chapter of her life. anyway I've been seeing 717 nonstop for the past month and a half, like to a level that started feeling personal, and I finally brought it up to her on the phone last weekend and she just casually goes "oh yeah that was always my number" and I had to make her repeat it. apparently 717 came up in basically every hotline reading she ever did back then and she'd always connected it to her dad who passed when she was young. I had genuinely no idea. and now here I am decades later seeing 717 on receipts and addresses and once on a hotel room key which I'll admit made me a little emotional in the lobby. I'm not someone who's all in on this stuff in a serious way but it's hard to fully brush off when ur mom drops smth like that out of nowhere. anyone else had angel numbers kinda pass down through ur family or feel inherited somehow. feels like there's smth there I can't quite articulate yet
