Hi! New to gardening

Im very new to gardening this year so I dont quite know everything. I transplanted 1 watermelon plant into the ground, to me it looks like its now 3 plants? Am I right or is this just how they normally look? Lol

Help! Im very new to gardening, like this is my very first year growing vegetables. I transplanted this Amish paste about a month ago (zone 7a) is it normal for the branches to look so limp? The leaves are still nice and green and I even have a bloom right now.
