In the film, which takes place in California, the breaker panel is a Federal Pioneer BE132-64-2C200. In the United States, the company was Federal Pacific, and this panel should not be available despite being very common in Canada. Ignoring the fact that the panel is from the wrong country, the panel and breakers were already obsolete at the time the film takes place. Is this meant to imply that the panel is misremembered and came through the complex, just like the crooked red breaker handles later did, or is it just implying that Clark’s store has really cheap/shoddy electrical work? Or was it just a simple prop mistake?
