The people who were able to make a switch successfully recently, what was your daily prep routine like while doing job? How much time did you give daily for prep and for how long?

My tech stack : C, Core java, Sql and shell scripting.
Wanted to know if there are someone who were in same boat as me and successfully switched.

I have 4yoe and i want to switch as soon as possible.
Based on yoe, i guess i need to target SDE2 roles and lld and hld is needed for it.

I am working as a software developer. Got placed in 2022 in this current org and working here since then.
In July I will be completing 4 years. The office is in Pune so currently staying there.
I am from Hyderabad and family is staying in Hyderabad. I desperately want to move to Hyderabad.
Looking at the current job trend, feeling very anxious if I will be able to make a switch(or is it too late for me as I have not made a single switch)
The project I am in right now is a legacy one related to telecom domain. The tech stack is c, core java, oracle sql and shell scripting. I don’t know and I don’t think there is any demand for this tech stack outside.
Need your guidance and advice on what I should do so that by the end of at least this year I have an offer in my hand.
