Would mods be open to allowing a recruiting megathread?

I agree that low effort recruiting posts are incredibly annoying but at the same time, there are a lot of LOs looking for better fits and also broker/owners looking for people.

Would the mods be open to a megathread to help those people? Maybe structure it in a way that makes it less spammy, like recruiters are required to post the criteria they're looking for, or recruits can list what they're ideally looking for. For example, something like:

  • 275bps minus X flat fee, 1099 or W2
  • LO responsible for X expenses, company covers Y
  • Must have X amount of experience closing Y volume
  • Location
  • Broker/Retail/Corr/Depository

Personally, I think it could be helpful and if you make a rule that all recruiting must be contained to the megathread, it wont infect other posts with spammy recruiters, especially if you put some requirements on how it works (maybe even require anyone recruiting to verify their company?). One of the most frustrating things as an LO is trying to find a company you're a good fit with, I know I bounced around way too much when I was starting out.

Mods, if its a hard no, all good and you can delete this post. Just curious if thats something people would even want and if you'd be open to it.
