Hey yall,

I found a used rs3 8v that I simply couldn’t pass on, I will pick up the car in a few weeks.

However, the one thing it is missing is the b&o system. I come from a mini f56 with the harman kardon and it was decent. I like a good bass and listen primarily to deep house and hip hop.

I believe my configuration is the middle Audi sound system, not the worse base speakers, but also not the b&o.

Getting a bit lost in the aftermarket options to upgrade and improve the audio sound system.

Between DSP, tuning, speaker replacement, I’m not too sure what to do. Obviously don’t want to spend a fortune on it either.

If anyone did an upgrade, some guidance would be highly appreciated!

I am a happy owner air a mini f56 jcw manual. The car is great and very fun to drive, but I do find it a bit too small for me. Looking into upgrading to a rs3 sportback 8v.

I just test drove it and it is very nice, particularly in manual where I feel like the DSG is extremely responsive. Less impressed when the car is in auto.

If anybody made a similar switch, I would be keen to hear your opinion. My main concern is that I will miss the manual engagement. I guess it is a trade off vs much more power.

On a side note, the car is from 2019 and has OPF, but I found the engine sound very nice, not too much like the previous non opf which pops and bangs like crazy.

If anybody anybody got any advice as well for anything to look out for I’m all ears 😁
