NHS experiences with test results
Hello all,
Looking for some guidance on NHS processes.
I completed a home sleep study for OSA about three weeks ago, and today I received a message on my NHS app inviting me to a face-to-face Respiratory Medicine appointment at the hospital next month.
Does this usually mean the test showed sleep apnoea, or do they also bring people in face-to-face for negative results?
I’m trying to prepare myself a bit before the appointment. Is there any way of accessing the actual sleep study report before then?
The NHS app message also mentioned they’ll be sending a letter with more details about the appointment. Does that normally include the sleep study results?
Would really appreciate hearing other people’s experiences with this!
