Fractal ridge vs shiny snake s300 pro for travel?

Currently in a maritime university and want to downsize once i work my first cadet contract to something easier to go from dorms ----> home ----> ship in overhead bin sized luggage/backpacks in planes and trains with my portable monitor and other peripherals. Ik the volume on the ridge is higher but the vertical layout makes it look pretty easy to transport but the shiny snake being so tiny is appealing too

Any other easily accessible eu options would be appreciated too (and yes, i know im making my life harder by not getting a laptop but i just really dont like them and the ships i'll be on can more than handle a pc safely)

Edit: fixed my wrong way around fans

Finally finished my 1st downsizing for turning my setup into a travel ready pc, my current budget limited me to transplanting what i could from my Dan A3 into this thing here, changing as little as possible. Happy with how it looks, and has some interesting pros and cons

Pros:

-Pretty small, takes up less desk space and i can fit it in overhead luggage

-Not listed online, but its physically big enough for some 120mm fans. I have 2 intake ones on the bottom and 1 exhaust on top, which is the limit

-Parts compatability, this size at matx mb, atx psu, 120mm fans is nice

Cons:

-Building in it. Sweet mother of god did it feel like smashing my balls with a mallet trying to fit things. Only the front panel comes off easy and that has the issues you would imagine

-Some minor scratches from the factory unpictured here
