After more than 20 years of suffering from endometriosis and other issues, I’m getting a hysterectomy. My surgeon is also an excision specialist and will be doing excision as needed at the same time. My last time under she diagnosed me with DIE but I was determined to attempt to hold on to my chances of fertility. Since then my regular gyno(I travel for my specialist) has said she also suspects possible frozen pelvis based on previous notes. All that is to say, I’m educated and mentally prepared for what is coming.

I don’t know what to expect for recovery or what I should get to help recovery go smoother.
