Delay Repay Split Ticket Return
Hello, I'm after some delay repay advice after my recent journey.
I purchased a return journey from Wigan to Dundee through Trainsplit which resulted in several tickets (1 off peak return and the rest advance singles). My outbound journey was fine but my return ended up being delayed for over 2 hours. This means in normal circumstances I would get 100% of the return ticket cost in compensation.
I put the claim into Northern who have agreed that I was delayed over 2 hours but they're only compensating me for the 1 off peak return ticket plus the advance singles for the return journey only. They are not taking into account the advanced singles on the outbound journey.
Are they wrong here? I purchased the complete journey as one booking so I believe I'm entitled to the full cost of all the tickets?
