New full upper
4 days ago I had all my upper teeth extracted I have a temporary denture or what ever they called it. Havnt worn it today got a sore spot. Its been alot. I left a abusive marriage and then bam i noticed a tooth was moveable.. then bam they are telling me i have to lose them.. my sister had lost hers upper when she was younger then me and tried implants which she said was the worst pain shes ever felt and theres no guarantee it will take. So i went with the denture. Im just looking for any advice and stories. Im kind of heart broken after alllllll the dentist appointments thru my life and excellent care iv tried to take my teeth are gone didnt have a cavity when i went in just utter bone lose.. Will I ever eat normally again? I used to love cooking and now im terrified I wont be able to eat any of it anymore. I did speech therapy as a child to get rid of my lisp and now its back again when my denture is in place well i be able to talk clearly again?? Please give me stories of encouragement 🙏also I look like I walked out of fucking whoville can they shorten the denture? the teeth are far to long for my mouth.. and I had a slight space between my front teeth is that something I can get back or do they have to be fully connected??
