So i’m currently about to have my third interview for hello sugar. The first interview phone call was so odd where the owner just asked me straight up “have you ever failed before “and I asked her to elaborate because that question was so vague and she literally said “cause sometimes you fail to sell memberships“ and i was like ohhh that’s what this is gonna be. The second interview i had went well and my 3rd is booked, the 3rd interview is a role play on me selling memberships😭.
I got sent a video to study and the founder of hello sugar legit says “this is a sales job that happens to be waxing” and basically if you can’t do sales the job isn’t for you. i lowk already hate that a man is the founder of this company while this entire industry is dominated by women. I’m still going to do my interview, just wanted to rant cuz this corporate greed is getting to me…

I’m a newly graduate and had my first interview with EWC, on paper they sound like a great company then i saw everyone else’s review and am worried lol. I already knew this big corporation would not care about me as an employee cuz it’s so sales and commissions based. If i get hired id try to bang it out for the training. but honestly i’m already confident in my waxing abilities but like u want a brazilian in 15 mins?! like boi what the heck. would it be better to apply to a different business (maybe a small owned one)? i’m very bad with pressure and am the most anxious person ever this sounds like terrible lowk. the manager said she’d call me like 5 hours ago to lmk if i got the job but that has not happened
