I need your support, guys.
Join r/ARFlix,
This sub isn't only about the ARFlix Android app. Talk about anything ARR related to Sonarr, Radarr, Prowlarr, Jellyfin, setups, problems, whatever you're running.
Do you think, I have to create tags for different topics??
ArFlix v1.3.9 is out, a much better video player for streaming.
Hey Guys, I pushed out ArFlix v1.3.9 today.
The biggest one is the video player. Seeking around used to be a bit fiddly, so now you just tap the left or right side of the screen to jump back or forward 20 seconds, and there's a big play and pause button sitting right in the middle. I also killed an annoying bug where tapping near the end of something would trick the app into thinking you finished it and it would jump to the next episode on its own. That's gone now.
The bottom nav bar got fixed too. Before, you pretty much had to land on the tiny icon to switch tabs, and tapping the label did nothing. Now the whole thing is one big tap target, so the icon, the label and the space around it all work.
The last change is about privacy. We have introduced a privacy setting to share anonymous data for app improvements. You can accept it or decline it. The app works for you whether you accept or decline.
Everything else works like before. Hook up your Jellyfin, Radarr, Sonarr and the rest and run it all from one app.
The latest release is live on the Play Store. Find the link below:

ArFlix v1.3.8 is out, with a much cleaner setup and a redone Download screen
Hey everyone,
Just pushed a new version of ArFlix and wanted to share what changed.
The biggest thing is the setup flow. The old way of adding servers was honestly confusing. It asked you for a URL before you'd even picked a service, and when you went to add a second server, there was nowhere obvious to put its address. So I rebuilt it. Now you just name your profile, then add each server with its own address and API key, one after another, all on one screen. Adding a second or third server actually makes sense now.
The other big change is the Download Center. The cards used to be different sizes depending on what was happening, and finished downloads would just vanish off the screen. Now every card is the same size, nothing gets cut off, and completed downloads stay put so you can see what actually finished. They even stick around after you close and reopen the app. When you want to clear them, you can swipe one away or wipe them all at once.
There are a couple of smaller fixes too. Also includes bug fixes and several stability improvements.
If something breaks or you have ideas, leave a comment or ping me. Thanks to everyone who's been testing this stuff, it really does help.

ArFlix 1.3.7 is out. Now you can stream/control your ARR videos on android better.
Quick context for anyone new. ArFlix is a free android app I built it to run a self hosted media stack from your phone (radarr, sonarr, jellyfin). Add your servers as profiles and you get one place for dashboards, downloads, the calendar, and playback.
The big fix in 1.3.7:
The app used to freeze on the splash screen when you reopened it after setup for some users. It's fixed now; every relaunch gets you in even if a server is slow or offline.
Other improvements:
- The calendar got a full redo. The new calendar screen now looks more polished, clean and professional.
- The download center now shows an "importing and extracting" state, which was missing earlier.
- Download Notification only fires once earlier. We fixed that.
- A "report a bug" screen is now added in settings, which helps users to post any bugs they noticed to our Reddit or Discord servers.
- Introduced password protected backups for your profiles.
- Introduced self-signed HTTPS certificate support for remote servers.

The new update is already live in the Play Store. Update your app, and we would love feedback.
ArFlix's new update v1.3.5 is out. Now available in Android Play Store.
This one's a big update. Here's what changed.
New
- First time you open the app you now get a proper setup flow that walks you through connecting Jellyfin, Radarr, and Sonarr, with the real service logos on the connect cards.
- New "Play Something" button that picks a random unwatched item from your library and starts it. Good for when you can't decide.
- There's now a Notifications page under Settings where you can turn the different notification types on or off.
- Download complete notifications now show the poster art, and tapping one takes you straight to that movie or episode instead of just opening the app.
- "Continue watching" reminders that link back to whatever you left unfinished.
- App shortcuts when you long press the app icon for quicker access.
Fixes and polish
- Long titles no longer overflow or get chopped off in a weird way. They now wrap to two lines or trim cleanly across cards, the calendar, series screens, and the home banner.
- Episode titles wrap to two lines properly, and the play button sits centered like it should.
- Deleting a whole series through the file picker now actually removes the series, not just the files.
- Fixed the series detail header sizing, so there's no empty gap up top and no jump when you first open it.
- Cleaned up the movie detail page so you don't see stray placeholder dashes where ratings or runtime don't apply.
- Optimisation
If you hit any bugs with this build, drop a post and let me know what device you're on and which services you've got connected.

👋 Welcome to r/ARFlix - Introduce Yourself and Read First!
Hey everyone, I'm u/EngineersAsylum, one of the mods here on r/ARFlix.
This is the new home for ArFlix, the Android app for managing your self-hosted media setup. If you run Radarr, Sonarr, Jellyfin, qBittorrent, SABnzbd, or similar, this is the place to talk about using them all from one app.
What to post
Pretty much anything ArFlix-related:
- Questions about setup, profiles, or connecting your services
- Bugs you've run into
- Features you'd like to see
- Tips or screenshots of how you've got things working
If you're stuck on something, just ask. Someone here has probably hit the same wall.
House rules
Keep it friendly and helpful. Treat people the way you'd want to be treated when you're the one asking a basic question.
Getting started
- Drop a comment below and say what services you run.
- Got a bug or a question? Make a post, don't wait.
- Know someone else who uses this kind of setup? Send them over.
If you're interested in helping moderate down the line, send me a message.
Thanks for being here early. Looking forward to seeing what people build with it.
I build a media server manager for android with streaming support
Hi Guys,
If you run your own media server, you probably know the usual setup.
One app for Sonarr. Another for Radarr. A separate download client. Then Jellyfin or Plex for watching. Most of the time the mobile experience feels clunky, outdated, or just made for desktop browsers.
That’s exactly why I started building ARFlix. The goal was simple: bring everything together into one clean and modern experience that actually feels good to use on a phone.
Instead of jumping between different apps and web dashboards, ARFlix lets you:
• Browse and stream your media library
• Manage movies and TV shows
• Monitor downloads in real time
• Check upcoming releases and missing episodes
• Connect with your existing setup like Sonarr, Radarr, Jellyfin, and more
• Use a UI that feels closer to Netflix instead of old admin panels
I’ve been putting a lot of focus into performance, smooth animations, and making the app feel polished instead of looking like another wrapper around web pages.
Everything connects directly to your own server. No accounts, no subscriptions, no cloud lock-in.
The Play Store listing just went live, and pre-registration is now open. I’d genuinely love feedback from people in the self-hosted and homelab communities because this app is being built for users like us.
