Help with this photo

Hello! I had this photo in my collection and I was wondering about the possible context.

It seems to be German soldiers and wounded German soldiers along with French soldiers there. Possibly British soldiers too?

I try to figure out what kind of scene this is. I appreciate all kinds of help! Maybe I just didn't think enough about it.

"God protect our Fatherland!" - Postcard from 1915

"Gott schütze unser Vaterland!" - "Durch Kampf zum Sieg!" patriotic Feldpost card sent from the Western Front by a Bavarian soldier (August 1915).

The card shows a 1914 Iron Cross draped in oak and laurel leaves, topped with the Imperial German Crown. The text reads: "Gott schütze unser Vaterland!" (God Protect Our Fatherland!) at the top, and "Durch Kampf zum Sieg!" (By fight to Victory!) at the bottom.

Unfortunately the back of the card is a little difficult to read.

Captured Italian heavy gun with motorized transport during the 1917 retreat

Hey!

This is another BUFA photo I had found in my collection taken during the Italian retreat to the Tagliamento with the negative number "5943".

The description on the back states: "The collapse of the Italian Army in Venetia. — On the retreat roads to the Tagliamento. 5943) Captured flat-trajectory gun with motorized transport."

Captured Italian artillery during the retreat to the Tagliamento River, late 1917

I had this larger sized photo in my collection, which was published by BUFA (Bild- und Film-Amt), as noted on the back! The negative number "5944" is also visible in the top left corner.

The description on the back basically states: "The collapse of the Italian Army in Venetia. — On the retreat roads to the Tagliamento. 5944) The immeasurable loot of artillery and material on one of the retreat roads to the Tagliamento."

German soldier posing with an unexploded British artillery shell - Loos, January 1916

Hey! I have found both in my collection. This postcard along with the original photo to it (second slide!)

On the original photo it states that it would be "38,5cm" and they found it at Loos in January 1916. There was also drawn on the shell!
