Rescinded??? :(
I think I might lose everything i've worked so hard for these past 4 years with 3 days left until graduation...
These are my final year grades:
AP Biology: C+
AP Statistics: D+ (i had a D+ first quarter, As last 3 quarters)
AP Calculus AB: F
AP French: A
AP Comparative & US Government: A-
Information Systems: A
Honors English: A-
I tried dropping calc in January, my counselor scared me out of it, saying I could get rescinded for dropping a course I listed on my application (I had just submitted to NU a month before). So I stayed.
Then my teacher randomly leaves 2 weeks before graduation, and she's not accepting any of the assignments I did on time, but didn't physically hand in. She's not entering any of my completed work I did in advance because she "won't grade until she's back." ...She gets back 2 days after graduation.
I could've had a D or even a C-, but no. I also have 3 missing tests, which is completely on me. Still, she'd always let me complete them late, due to personal stuff she's aware of, so it was completely out of nowhere for her to just shut down on me, especially after I told her my dream offer could get taken away. She literally dgaf.
For context: I'm currently enrolled in Northeastern's online Calc 1 course, and I have a 100% in the class. I know the material, I just couldn't keep up with 9 classes (max at my school is 7, idk why I did that to myself) while doing college apps completely alone as a first-gen student.
I knew I should've dropped, but my counselor really scared me, and I didn't even know you could get rescinded for a grade drop, so it was a lose-lose either way.
I rejected all my other offers after getting in ED2, so if I get rescinded, I have no backup, just an unwanted gap year and reapplying from square one. I'm planning to email NU before they get my transcript, but I'm SO scared.
