At an absolute loss over here on removing tiles in my 1978 house

We have polished floorboards in the bedrooms which are in great condition, assuming there is floorboards as the base through the whole house

We need 4 wet areas renovated

And have tiles running from the front door lounge, formal dining and kitchen area, then to the back door. At an absolute loss and cant seem to decide on either laying hybrid over the top or pulling up the tiles and screet and getting the floorboards polished

Any advice much appreciated

This is our new house, key requirements for improvement are to expand the ensuite, happy to remove the linen cupboard behind, expand the bathroom happy to remove the linen cupboard behind. Ideally want a toilet in the bathroom.

Bedroom 3 is debatable in terms of keeping throat wardrobe or not to give more space to the ensuite

Is there anything else you would do to this floor plan to maximize the size of the house.
