How to deal with a toxic and problematic coworker?
I started a new position with my company. It's basically being a dispatcher but for security. Here's the issue, a very problematic and toxic coworker is my day shift relief. No one likes her as she plays friendly but then will report you. Take credit for your work and will bully indirectly, a real snake in the grass type of person.
Day one at my new position and I was reported for wearing a custom hoodie that was given to only the security officers that worked on that project by the company that hired us as thanks. We are still working with now atm as the building us dispatchers are in us owned by them. Our uniform is a polo shirt and jeans. I always wear a hoodie which was deemed okay to do by my supervisor. The report isn't going anywhere but I'm still angry about it since.its pointless drama that I don't want to deal with.
Is there any way I could get in trouble for telling her not to talk to me unless its about work stuff only? Knowing her, she'll probably report me for that but I want to cover myself so I won't get in trouble. I want nothing to do with her at all but I see her at the start and end of my shift And its just us.
Our boss knows her antics but has still kept her since she shows up to work and we still need people for the current project.
