Is Tracking Software bad or am I the problem?

I have been remote for 3 years now. I was never under any delusion that my company could not see what was happening on my work laptop, but 2 months ago leadership made us download and start using new software that records our screens and gives us productivity scores based on mouse movement and keyboard strokes.

At first I figured it wouldnt be an issue because I was moving forward in my role, actually got a decent raise earlier this year during annual reviews and have no negative marks against me, i was on track to move into a senior role in the next year or so.

But now I keep getting told that my productivity score is poor, and its effecting my morale. I get my tasks done and I’m near my laptop all day its not like im taking naps or playing golf but I used to go for runs with my work Cell in case ai got a call, I’d get some chores done around the house or start prepping dinner/lunch in between work tasks and now Im so paranoid of this Productivity Score I get stressed making coffee during my breaks or going to the bathroom.

I have brought up the paranoia with my boss but she keeps saying “lets just get the scores up” and the more I try and argue against the tracking the more I look like Im being to defensive. At this point i think I hope they just fire me which is scary. i don’t want to be on a PIP but The alternative is recording everything I do to make sure i can combat a poor productivity score with call logs and evidence but at that point why don’t I just wear a body cam and submit that to my boss daily for review.

Wondering if anyone is in a similar situation or has experienced anything like this with remote work, or maybe I am just being super dramatic I know Im paid to work it just feels way less free/easy going now.

Does anyone else’s kids love chewing on Books?

I am a newish Dad ( my Daughter is a little over 1 year old now so learning as much as I can each day) we have a ton of books we have gotten as gifts or purchased ourselves for her. Our little one loves the Little Blue Truck Books but as much as she likes to read them, she loves to bite on the books more and at this point the spines of roughly 5-7 of the books are completely Frayed/destroyed.

I have read this is super common for teething babies but i was hoping for some advice on how others have handled this. I feel bad throwing away books and I don’t want to necessarily keep the books out of reach for her. Normally my wife or I will hold the books and read to her, but in her carseat or stroller and occasionally in her play space she’ll get them by herself. Maybe the key is to limit her access to them but hoping for some advice on how other parents have handled this! Thanks!

I have a product idea I think could be really good but am clueless on how to create/sell it looking for advice

I have Googled and AI’d steps on how to proceed but I am stuck trying to Validate the idea. For Context my idea is a type of Teething product for babies/young children, before you say there are millions out there i have done some research and there is nothing quite like the one i have envisioned.

I know uniqueness does not necessarily equate to a product Market Fit but i am struggling to validate the idea because Friends and Family are unconditionally supportive, i feel like I cant just come out snd say the product idea on a reddit thread for fear of it being stolen, and when I try and reach out to certain daycares, or childcare facilities who may use the product I get no response.

Need advice on how to validate and what to do next if its viable.

Thanks
