7cm fibroid and its risk for pregnancy
Hello. Two days ago, my sister (28) was diagnosed with a 7 cm fibroid after going to the doctor because of irregular periods. For the past two days, I’ve been researching all over the internet. I guess even though many women have larger fibroids, the risks can still vary. Today my sister had an MRI, and we’ll wait a few days for the results. In the meantime, I’m trying to stay a bit calmer and hear different opinions so I can reassure her. Of course my main concern is her health, but she is more worried about whether she’ll still be able to have children. So I want to ask this: can a 7 cm fibroid (I think there may also be fluid around it) prevent a pregnancy in the future? I know nothing definite can be said before the MRI results, but I can’t stop worrying. I truly appreciate your help. 🙏🏽 thank u.
