Zensō is on the App Store, a better remote control + image-transfer app for all Nikon Z cameras
I'm the developer of Zensō, an iOS app that turns your iPhone or iPad into a second screen for Nikon Z cameras. It's now available on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6776183152
What it does:
- Remote shooting with live view — exposure, focus, and white balance without touching the body
- Stable background connection with your camera
- New shots transfer to your device automatically as you take them
- Browse the camera's cards and download only the files you want
- Writes your device's GPS into each photo, so outdoor and travel sets keep their location
- Connection, transfer, battery, and camera status at a glance, including on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island via Live Activities
Plenty of apps stop at being a live-view monitor.
Zensō starts there and keeps going, remote control, automatic image transfer, full gallery browsing and downloading, GPS syncing, background status on the Lock Screen.
A monitor shows you the frame, but this manages the whole shoot around it.
Compatibility: works with Nikon Z-mount cameras, ZR, Z9, Z8, Zf, Z6 III / Z6 II / Z6, Z7 II / Z7, Z5 II / Z5, Z50 II / Z50, Zfc, Z30.
Pricing: everyone gets a 5-day free trial, then it's a one-time purchase of USD 9.99. No subscription.
Coming next: USB connection lands in the next update, for a faster and more stable wired workflow.
The TestFlight build will stop working on July 10. Once the beta expires it can no longer be used, so please install the App Store version before then to avoid losing access.
Happy to answer anything, and I'd really value feedback from people shooting with Z mirrorless, bugs and feature requests included.
