The irony of Snyder's films are better becuase they are more "Mature and for adults" argument is that Zachs films would have flopped if kids could not have seem them
I see many of the Snydercult claiming that his films are better becuase they are more "realistic" and "mature" and how the stuidos ruined his visions by msking them more child friendly when they should have been more "adult" like thier prophet wanted. Then they bring up his box office performances as another reason his flims are superior. Its irritating to see they dont realize that information is not ajusted for todays box office scores but that a huge reason that they made they much money is becuase the studios knew that the majority of the audiences that would see those movies were KIDS. The majority of superhero movie audiences are kids heck a good chunk of them were likley at least in thier teens when they first saw his films. If Zach was able to make those movies more mature like he wanted they would likley be R rated which by law would prohibit the majority of the audiences to view his films in theaters. The studios interfering for this reason actually makes sense becuase a movie with these characters would be best if they were at least PG or PG 13 at best. They dont realize that the audiences for these movies are mainly children and families not just manchildren.
