My essay feedback was originally due April 27. On May 5, the professor sent an email apologising for the delay due to a family emergency, saying they hoped to complete marking within 7 days and would keep us informed.

It’s now May 21. Still “not marked” on Moodle, and no further email from the professor at all.

This same professor was late returning a previous assignment too. It came back about a week after the original deadline.

Is this level of delay actually common？

Hi everyone, I had an essay due a while ago and the feedback due date grade (April 27th) has passed. However, my Moodle status is still stuck on "Not marked" and professor hasn't sent any delay notice. Has anyone experienced this before? Does "Not marked" just mean the admin hasn't uploaded the bulk grading sheet yet? I feel very nervous and anxious about it.
