Recently, there’s been a huge increase in bots on Reddit, including this Sub. Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to be unaware about this issue, so I’m making this post to spread awareness.

Please look at these images and read a few of the comments. Do you notice a pattern?

1. A lot of these comments feel off. They’re too professional sometimes to the point where they sound non-human. You can check their account and you’ll see that this is the case for all if not most of their comments.

2. All of these comments seem to have been made by accounts that have no personalised profile (default profile picture, default name, no bio) and have never posted a single post.

3. A lot of these comments enjoy using certain words, such as “pop” and “contrast.” I swear I’m not kidding when I say that if you search “contrast” in this Subreddit’s comments, you’ll find a LOT of bots. That’s how I found a lot of the comments in the provided images.

These bots are scary as hell. Typically at first glance, you’d not see anything wrong. When botted comments first appeared under my posts, I didn’t realise that they were bots at first. It was only after I started noticing a pattern between these comments that I realised that there was a good chance that they’re not even human, and I was right.

If you find any of these bots anywhere in the Sub or in any other Subs, call them out for being a bot and report them to the moderators if possible. Do NOT trust these bots EVEN if they reply to your comment, unless they actually sound human. Yes, these bots can somehow reply to comments. Always trust your gut feeling.

Do remember that not all accounts that seem like bots actually are bots, so do not harass anyone who you don’t believe is a real human. If you are unsure of whether a comment is made by a bot or not, check their account and see if ALL of the signs I had mentioned are present.

The Middle Nursefather but it’s Ishmael and she’s not missing an arm

I currently only have the Roseate Desire (UT 1) and Christmas Nightmare (UT 4) EGOs for Ishmael (when excluding Snagharpoon) and want to get an EGO that synergises well with Jeong’s Office Ishmael.

Should I get Capote Ishmael to trigger Jeong Ishmael’s Forming A Hand passive, HFDM Ishmael as a replacement for Snagharpoon, or Blind Obsession Ishmael as a generalist support EGO? I’m personally leaning more towards Capote so I could finish the three EGO affinities that are wanted for Jeong Ishmael’s passive, but I’m not quite sure whether that’s the best choice here or not.
