DRAMA30020: Acting for Camera as a Community Access Program

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has taken the DRAMA30020: Acting for Camera course at the VCA and have any feedback about it? I did some acting 10 years ago (with an agent and all that) and was thinking about wanting to get back into it and have some questions about this course:

  1. According to the Handbook, there are only 15 hours of contact time for the course but it requires 146 hours of commitment... is that all individual script analysis / revision or are you expected to rehearse with a teammate for the assessment (or something else entirely)

  2. Do you get a reel of your performance at the end of it?

  3. Any sort of thoughts/ insight / feedback would be much appreciated.

Thank you!
