Welfare fraud investigator visit
hi! I had a welfare fraud investigator come to my home and wanted to do a residence check. my sister was there and said I didn’t live there but that I would visit a lot. he called me and asked about it I said I used to stay there but more temporary but moving back to a prior address and I also told them I started a job 3 days ago and no longer need cal-works or ebt. i never got calworks. just received one month of aid from ebt. he told my sister I’m not in trouble and over the phone he told me I’m ok and he will report back to the welfare office now I’m worried I’m going to get in trouble. I did submit documentation before he even came to my mom’s house through the portal to withdraw my application is what I requested but I guess they never saw it. I never been in this situation and i dont have a record. am i in trouble?
