Hello, looking for some advice. I’ve taken on a plot that was neglected for a few years and I’m trying to get the compost bins up and running again to use some of the green waste on the plot.

There’s existing compost in the bins. Can I get this going again or is it way past saving?

If it can be saved can I please get some guidance on what to do next. I know the principles of composting but only really starting from scratch - I can tell it needs water but not much beyond that.
