Turf Health Help
Hi everyone! I recently moved into a new build, that had bark and twigs on the front lawn/driveway area. I decided to get a quote from the landscapers looking after the area and got some turf in last Monday (cash in hand).
Fast forward to 8 days in, I am seeing some brown spots despite of consistent watering. We even had some mushrooms growing, which I found odd. So lifted the turf to see what’s going on, and found bark and stone pieces right below.
See photo attached, is this likely contributing to this issue? I have checked few rolls, and all of them have somewhat been compromised… I have sent an email to the landscapers to fix it, but I’m unsure how responsive they’ll be, and I want to ensure we prevent it from drying further. FYI - they also did my back garden and that looks absolutely fine, with no bark under the turf, but it also gets less sun exposure.
