They never believe the critics or thr box office projections unless it fits their narrative lmao

- last year they didn’t believe any projections for Superman now they are believing the one for Supergirl (which presales didn’t start yet btw)

am i the only one sick of those marketing narratives going on with the DCU films ?

- i’ve seen many people saying that supergirl marketing is nonexistent and that the studio doesn’t want or care to promote it
- though there is a new spot, a supergirl barbie doll being announced, multiple billboard already there many collaborations with multiple brands, the actress promoted it at CCXP Mexico and there was a booth at coachella
- idc if it’s a bot activity or something else but people said the same about superman…
- people were mad because it was not a barbie level marketing and that it was just tv spot and spamming the superman logo everywhere…
- since the lack of marketing of the last dceu films, people became so insufferable when it comes to marketing
- Also, marketing push is always when the presales of a blockbuster are starting which basically means 30 day before the release
- it has been the case for many films like gotg3, barbie, thunderbolts, superman etc
- Anyway what do you guys think ?

Man of Tomorrow will be DC first event film since 2017 (don’t count ZSJL since it released in HBO Max)
