Want to get involved but I missed out

Hey all!

I'm a university student and recently turned 20. I only really found out about scouts last year (I knew about it just not actually how awesome it all was), but given it was my first year at uni I was busy and busy and busy. Unfortunately I missed out on all the fun of scouts and it really does feel like something I would have loved growing up. In any case, we have a scouting society at our uni that I want to get properly involved with however its not the most active. It all feels like here in the UK the nickname for scouts network (18-25) being 'pub scouts' is all too fitting and it just isnt quite my jam.

Are there any other similar options? Or are my only options now my universities scouts and girl guiding society, scouts network, and alternatively maybe looking into volunteering for scouts somehow?
