









Eurofighter EF-2000 30+78 (serial No.GS058) is assigned to Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 71.
Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 71 "Richthofen", formerly known as Jagdgeschwader 71 (JG 71) Richthofen is a Fighter wing of the German Air Force. JG 71 was West Germany's first operational jet fighter unit. On 29 June 2013 the last F-4F Phantom fighter flew for the last time, before the type was taken out of service. The wing is now equipped with the Eurofighter EF-2000.
Germany is upgrading all 79 of its Tranche 2 Eurofighter Typhoons, alongside 31 Tranche 3A aircraft. These existing jets are receiving modern Hensoldt-led AESA radars and advanced electronic warfare suites to keep the fleet viable through 2060.
This particular example is carrying a full complement of weapons , comprised of 4 GBU 48 laser guided bombs, 4 MBDA Meteor beyond visual range air-air missiles, and 2 IRIS-T short range air-air missiles.
F-22A Raptor 03-4046 c/n 645-4046 joined the 27th FS on July 28, 2005 and then was assigned to the 94th FS in January 2007. Three years later on July 9, 2010, the aircraft was transferred to the 19th FS “Gamecocks / Mytai Fighters” of the 15th Wing. The 19th FS had been based at Elmendorf AFB in Alaska beginning in 1994 until 2010 when it became part of the 15th Wing stationed at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The 15th Wing is an associate unit with the Hawaii Air National Guard 199th FS.
