New salary offer after 8 months

A bit of background: I graduated last summer and started my first job in August 2025. Finding a job was super easy as I received multiple offers. I ultimately chose my current company and overall Im very happy with that decision. I enjoy the work, have great colleagues, and a supportive team leader/mentor.

Out of curiosity I interviewed with another company for a role with similar responsibilities. I was quite surprised by the compensation package they offered and it got me thinking about my career progression.

Im ambitious by nature and always looking to grow. Standing still feels like moving backwards to me. I already discussed the offer with my mentor, and it seems unlikely that Ill receive a salary increase in the coming year as raises at my company are typically considered after two years. The only doubt i have on myself if that it is maybe too quick?

What feedback or advice would you have? Thanks.
