How many views did you get this week?
reddit.comThis has to be easiest way to get to the required watch time
you have to use a plugin for obs called aitum and you connect your youtube stream key to the vertical canvas option in the settings of that plugin once you have it installed.
YouTube is judging Al slop with Al slop
The crackdown on low effort content is right and I support it. But real creators are losing income to their AI algorithm making mistakes. Punishing automated content with automated decisions is hypocritical. Nobody expects a human reviewing all 114 million channels. But why not start with monetised ones? If a channel earns money on your platform, a human checks before that income disappears. YouTube made $9.88 billion last quarter. They can afford a review team.
A simple thumbnail tip that most creators ignore
One mistake I see a lot of creators make is putting the exact same text in both the thumbnail and the title. You're using two valuable pieces of real estate to say the same thing. Instead, let your thumbnail create curiosity and let the title add context. When they complement each other instead of repeating each other, you give viewers a much better reason to click.
I don't even let him finish the word "sponsor" 😭
Old YouTube vs Modern YouTube
The old youtube homepage was so much better. It actually helped you discover new creators.
What inactive YouTube channel do you still check from time to time?
reddit.comNew YouTuber here. Any advice?
I recently started taking YouTube seriously and my current goal is to reach my first 1,000 subscribers. Right now I'm at 15 subscribers, but I'm starting to feel a bit stuck. Most of my videos only get around 5-12 views, so I'd really appreciate any advice from people who've been through this stage.
Did devs secretly nerf the Kar98k + Nikita combo to hide the Fake Damage bug?
Has anyone else noticed that the Kar98k feels incredibly clunky to reload right now when using Nikita?
I recently sent a detailed bug report to support with video proof from the training grounds. There was a massive hit-registration bug where firing the Kar98k rapidly using Nikita’s reload speed boost caused every second shot to register as fake damage (numbers pop up, but the enemy loses 0 HP). It was completely ruining sniper gameplay.
Support gave me a generic "send us a video from a normal match" response. But when I went to record it, I realized the devs had quietly nerfed the gun. The Kar98k reload rhythm is now noticeably slower, even with Nikita equipped. Her skill basically feels useless on it now.
Instead of actually fixing the server desync and adding double damage verification, it looks like they just capped the reload speed so the servers wouldn't overlap the damage packets. They swept the bug under the rug by lowering the skill ceiling and ruining a great mechanical combo, all without putting it in the patch notes.
Are any other sniper mains feeling this clunky reload right now? We need to make some noise about this so they actually fix the servers instead of punishing fast mechanics.
