Lawn care business or college?
Hello I’m 29m w/ wife and 3 kids. I’ve came across a unique opportunity to pursue a dream career I had before starting a lawn care business. I started my business this year and things have been going ok for my first year in. I enjoy the work but I wouldn’t call it my dream job. I really enjoy the flexibility. I drive for uber on the side and have been investigating the full ride “scholarship” through ASU. My dream career is to be a dentist always has been. I worked in the field as an assistant for 4 years before the doctor I worked for retired. I absolutely love the field and feel that it is my calling. But family comes first which is why I left and didn’t pursue school. But a mostly full ride for undergrad would be a game changer for me. I don’t know what to do. Part of me really wants to pursue my dream career. The other part of me wants to see how the business goes. I also thought about maybe doing both. Keep the lawn care business small and use it as income while I go to school. Any ideas or thought would be appreciated.
