Stuck in Ranked Hell — Is Pokémon Unite matchmaking really this bad, or am I missing something?

I've been playing Pokémon Unite for just under a month and I've been hard-stuck in Ultra Rank 2 for what feels like forever.
Before anyone says it's a skill issue, I've genuinely been trying to figure out if I'm the problem. I've watched guides, adjusted my builds, and even spent some time in casual matches to compare.

What I'm noticing in ranked is that a huge percentage of my games feel completely one-sided. I usually play bottom lane, and it feels like:
•Lane partners constantly abandon the lane early.
•I'm left trying to defend against 2–3 opponents by myself.
•Junglers rarely rotate to help objectives.
•Teammates seem more focused on chasing MVP, kills, or farming than securing objectives and defending goals.

In casual matches I can often carry games pretty comfortably, but in ranked I frequently end up underleveled because I'm the only one trying to defend goals or contest objectives while getting overwhelmed by multiple opponents.
So I'm curious:
Has anyone else noticed matchmaking feeling worse lately
•Is this a common experience in Ultra rank?
•Is there some strategy for climbing when your team doesn't seem coordinated?
•At what rank does teamwork start becoming more consistent?

I'm not claiming I'm some amazing player, but I'm honestly trying to figure out whether this is normal for ranked Unite or if there's something fundamental I'm doing wrong.
I'd love to hear from players who managed to climb out of Ultra. What changed for you?
