For those who’ve read the Archie TMNT Adventures comics, what’s your favorite moment from the series?

It can be emotional, quiet, strange, funny, anything that stuck.

Mine is this scene from TMNT Adventures #66.

After the final battle, Donatello repairs Manx's damaged cybernetics and restores him to himself. When Manx thanks him, Don simply says it was "just a little rewiring."

I love this scene because it perfectly captures Donatello's compassion. Even after everything that happened, he doesn't just see Manx as a villain, he sees someone who can still be helped. Rather than ending the story with revenge, Don chooses to heal and give Manx a second chance.

To me, it's one of Donatello's greatest moments in the Archie comics and one of the best examples of what makes him such a great hero.

What about you? Which moment from the Archie run has stayed with you?

Lucario vs Luxray — Manga vs Anime Comparison

Lucario vs. Luxray has always been one of my favorite Pokémon battles, so I put the manga and anime versions side by side.

Pokemon Journeys Manga — Chapter 24

Pokemon Journeys Anime — Episode 77

A fun comparison between the two adaptations.

Bone Rush

I've always thought Bone Rush was one of Lucario's most iconic moves. It perfectly matches Lucario's fighting style, and every use of it feels dynamic and satisfying to watch. I just wanted to share a few GIFs celebrating one of my favourite moves.

What Do You Think Of The Archie TMNT Adventures Comics?

I have a real soft spot for the Archie TMNT Adventures comics. They capture that bright, fun 80s/90s cartoon energy with tons of action, humor, new characters like the Mutanimals, and some surprisingly heartfelt and deeper moments mixed in.

I especially love how they portrayed Donatello. He’s the brilliant inventor and tech genius, but also the kindest, most spiritual and peaceful turtle with a near-pacifist nature that makes him feel like the true moral heart and conscience of the team. Anyone else have fond memories of the Archie TMNT comics?

A Cute Screenshot Of Lucario (From Pokemon The Movie: I Choose You)

Fun Fact:

In Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You!, Sorrel was deeply traumatized after his loyal Luxray froze to death protecting him in a blizzard. For a long time afterward, he was too scared to bond with any Pokemon, fearing he’d lose them too.

Sorrel eventually overcame his trauma by forming a powerful new bond with Lucario. It is gently hinted that the wild Lucario sensed his emotional distress through its ability to read auras. This special connection helped him gradually heal, rebuild his trust, and rediscover the warmth of friendship with Pokemon. The Lucario became his loyal partner, and by the time he joins Ash and Verity, Lucario fights faithfully by his side, showing that not every bond has to end in heartbreak and marking a beautiful new chapter in his journey.

I really love the bond between Korrina and Lucario. Watching them grow closer, learn to trust each other, and support one another so naturally makes their connection feel really special and heartwarming to me.

One Thing I Appreciate About 2003 Donatello Is His Connections With Others

One thing I really appreciate about Donatello in the 2003 TMNT series is how he actually forms genuine connections outside of just his brothers. He’s not only the “tech guy”. he comes across as thoughtful, empathetic, and willing to really understand the people he interacts with. That adds a lot of depth to his character and makes his relationships feel more natural and meaningful.

I kind of wish more versions of Don leaned into this side of him consistently. It makes him feel more well-rounded and, honestly, a lot more relatable than just being the smart one of the group.
