When every floral accord is a fantasy accord…

When every floral accord is a fantasy accord…

Turns out I am someone who has never stopped to smell the roses, well any flowers really. I just didn’t grow up around them and don’t know them very well (except for an internship I did in New Orleans back in 2002, where Osmanthus grew everywhere!) so I picked up a heliotrope plant because I’m obsessed with heliotrope perfumes and had to get my nose one a real one. Piperonal is remarkably heliotrope like, I mean it’s not a 1 for 1, the plant smells like a plant, I’m getting the leaves and damp soil and all the rest, but in general it’s a pretty damn good representation of at least part of the odor! Next up is a jasmine plant!
