Posted a couple days ago regarding my truck making a squealing sound when accelerating. I appreciate all the good advice/suggestions.
I’ve uploaded a video so you guys and gals can get a better understanding.
2016 Holden Colorado LTZ, automatic transmission, 185k on the clock. Diesel.
A few good suggestions, could possibly be a boost leak/split in a hose!
Your guess is as good as mine.

I bought a used truck from a reputable dealership a couple weeks ago, on the drive home I noticed the head unit doesn’t work and a loud screech coming from Either the snorkel or engine when accelerating over 2,000rpm. ( didn’t notice these problems on the test drive as only tested it around the industrial estate) I contacted my insurance to make a claim for it to get fixed, they’ve came back and told me they won’t accept my claim as it sounds like a pre existing problem.
The one thing I’m annoyed about, Is that these “problems” were not mentioned to me in the dealership or on the add where I discovered the ute.
When I speak to the dealership they’re advising me to contact insurance, feel like I’m going around it a circle.
What can I do so I’m not out of pocket. (Kinda expect to be frunting the cash 🙃)
Any help would be appreciated.
