Played the best golf of my life the other week and got accused of sandbagging in a local men’s league.

Shook the guys’ hands and said thanks — that’s the best compliment I’ve gotten in years.

Will be chasing that feel for weeks now.

Edit: for clarity, the other guys were super chill about it. After asking if I was “really an 18 handicap” they congratulated me and said it was fun to play. They got 1st place that week and shot 7 under (+1 and 7.6 handicap in a 2 man scramble) so they weren’t upset lol
