BOOGIE CAUGHT LYING AGAIN
Something I’ve been looking at after Boogie talking about how much he’s supposedly paid off his house after last nights show. He’s moaning about Keem selling the company (potentially) and how he should have some sort of payment. But below shows how he’s wasted his quote- “doctor money”
In the Mike Clum documentary, filmed during 2023, Boogie says he still owes roughly $163,000 on his house. The documentary was released in October 2023, and Clum reportedly spent around nine months filming with him.
Then there’s a mortgage screenshot from roughly 30 months ago showing:
$163,136.79 remaining
And the more recent screenshot shows:
$117,456.84 remaining
So let’s do the basic maths.
$163,136.79
− $117,456.84
= $45,679.95
That’s roughly $45.7k of principal reduction over those 30 months. NOT 100k that he claimed last night that has paid off during his time on the show.
If Boogie was paying around $2,000 a month like he claims, 30 months would be about $60,000 in mortgage payments. If we use the ~$2,200 figure discussed in the Clum documentary, that’s about $66,000 over 30 months.
Obviously, mortgage payments include interest, so I’m not saying every dollar of those payments should have come straight off the principal.
But that’s exactly the point: making mortgage payments isn’t the same thing as paying off the mortgage.
What I find interesting is the contrast between this and Boogie talking about the money he’s made during the Lolcow era and referring to it as “doctor money.”
If you’ve got a mortgage sitting around $160k, surely the sensible move when your income improves would be to hammer that principal down as quickly as possible.
Instead, we’ve seen years of spending on things like collectibles, games, crypto losses and other discretionary purchases. The Mike Clum documentary itself has Boogie talking about losing a large amount of money in crypto, selling cards to make ends meet, and revealing that he’d spent more than $200,000 on sex workers over time.
I’m not saying we know exactly how much Boogie has earned from Lolcow Live, because we don’t have his bank statements or contracts.
I’m saying the mortgage balance is something we can actually see.
And the numbers we can see tell us:
~$163k → ~$117.5k
That’s about $45.7k paid off the principal in the period represented by these screenshots.
So when someone talks about making “doctor money” and supposedly paying huge amounts off their house, I’d love to see the mortgage statements that actually demonstrate it.
Because based on the screenshots available, the claim that he’s paid off $100,000+ of mortgage principal during this period simply isn’t supported by the numbers.
And honestly, that’s the frustrating part. He had an asset sitting there that could have been made substantially more secure, yet the documentary already showed a pattern of burning through money and then worrying about having enough left to cover the mortgage.
Maybe the income wasn’t as high as people assume. Maybe there were taxes, interest, other debts and expenses. Maybe there were additional payments we haven’t seen.
I’m not part of the discord but if someone is and could share this please and if it manages to get to Keem. It just shows that he probably needs this and he won’t be going anywhere. At the height of the show and he still chooses to pay his mortgage payments at the bare minimum and waste it on a 7k arcade machine.
