After spending a lot of time fiddling around with Arturia's Pigments and a Dreadbox Typhon, I've realized that I feel a lot more inspired by hardware than software. I'm looking for a capable do-it-all (or do-most?) synthesizer to handle all manners of sounds.

I have a particular interest in industrial and techno sounds, but I also explore other genres. I've been leaning towards a wavetable or virtual analog synth because they seem to be better at creating truly unique sounds.

My budget is about $800 max, but I could potentially stretch that if it meant getting a significantly better instrument. Some options that I've briefly researched include the Korg Modwave, Modal Argon8, and Hydrasynth Explorer. I'd love to hear about your experiences with those synths and others.
