Heya,
I have around 5+TB of YouTube videos from my "Watch Later", "Liked" and other playlists I archived over the years, now I need a bit more space on my NAS.
Due to the still rather high prices (and growing...) of hard drives in Austria I can't really build another 5 drive NAS just yet, I was already looking up 18TB drives to expand my current storage capability but that'll cost quite a bit... I do however already have the enclosures.
So... I was wondering if there may be a public archive for YT videos I can submit these to so I know they'll be in good hands at least :)
Thanks!
Heya,
for yet unknown reasons MacOS wrote over my GoPro Hero 13 Black SD Card exFAT partition yesterday when I just started to move files off of it and I'm now trying to recover the files. I'm not sure how, but the card itself didn't fail at all.
The card has not been written to apart from whatever MacOS tried to write as Metadata files which were roughly ~20MB, however the partition table is entirely missing/overwritten to the point it couldn't be mounted again. Only some MacOS hidden metadata files were on this broken partition.
I've already made a ddrescue image which went through with 0 retries, photorec sadly failed to recover all files as they are intertwined with GoPro metadata and its Low-Quality proxy files. Using DMDE however I recovered around 21GB just fine, with all original metadata in tact.
Some videos are still missing which DMDE didn't even show in its directory viewer and I'm now trying to find the missing ones.
Things I've already tried:
Are there any other tools or ways you can recommend? Thanks already for your help!
