I’m trying to dump the activation records from my iPhone 6 on iOS 8.3. It is disabled (on the iPhone is disabled, please connect to iTunes screen). The iOS 8 and 12 ramdisks in Legacy iOS Kit can’t mount the file system. It says:

mount_hfs: Could not create property for re-key environment check: No such file or directory
mount_hfs: error on mount(): error = -1.
mount_hfs: Resource busy

What do I do the dump the records and then erase this phone?

I want to get my friend some nicer earbuds as gift soon. They’ve been using various $25 no-name earbuds from Amazon for the past few years. I think AirPods Pro 3 would be an upgrade, but they have an Android Phone (Galaxy S25, I think?). I’ve read that AirPods generally work on Android, but things like ear detection and Hey Google don’t work.

They often listen to music to go to sleep and while sleeping. During the day, they often only listen with one earbud in to be able to hear the things around them. Though they may no longer do this if the nicer earbuds have transparency mode. They’re not a techie at all.

Should I get AirPods for them and then just suggest they download CAPods, or should I buy another ~$200 pair that’s better suited for Android?
