I spent months building 9 eight-hour sleep soundscapes with sleep frequencies embedded underneath — here's what I learned

I'm a former professional keyboard player, and I wanted to approach nature sounds for sleep differently — not just raw ambient audio, but tracks with sleep-inducing frequencies woven into the mix. Delta range, sub-bass resonance, the kind of thing your nervous system responds to without you consciously noticing.

I built 9 of them: rainstorm, ocean waves, rushing river, forest wind, cricket field, harbor, meadow, thunderstorm, and fireplace. All 8 hours. No interruptions — the full night, unbroken.

Happy to share the playlist if it's useful to anyone here.

Also curious: does anyone else find one type of sound dramatically more effective than another for actually falling asleep?
