Table set up

People have asked me why I keep empty space on my table. The doggie treats are in baskets hanging from a rack. The doggie toys hang from a vertical peg board. The doggie bandanas are on a rod set above the table. But, the tabletop itself has almost nothing on it. I keep hearing about "wasted display space". Look at the pictures. I think my reasoning becomes a bit clearer. 🤣

This is Creme Brulee (yes, that is her real name) last night's first customer, and part of the reason I sell what I sell, and why I have washable table covers. 🫠

Very small market

I missed my normal, fairly decent sized, farmers market today to be supportive of a local community event. The overall event was quite nice, but the market part of it was tiny. Of the 7 (yes, seven) vendors, 3 were non-profit, basically handing out information, groups. I did not make a huge profit. (I made enough sales to cover my costs, almost.) But, it was one of the most satisfying markets I've ever done. There was a local rescue shelter with puppies for adoption (in theory, at least: none of the puppies got a new home today, but I did see several people filling out adoption paperwork, so they may be adopted later). Everyone that attended had a good time.

Went top less for last night's market

It was a nice night, so I left the tent in the car, and did an al fresco setup. The furry customers liked it.
