Any Urologists out there??
I'm 16 years old and I've had this issue for as long as I can remember.
I can retract my foreskin enough to expose most of the head of my penis when it's soft, but there seems to be a ring-like area around the base of the glans (where the head meets the shaft) that looks attached. It feels like the skin is covering or fused to that area and prevents the foreskin from retracting completely.
I don't have pain, bleeding, swelling, redness, itching, or problems urinating. Erections are normal, but the tightness/attachment becomes more noticeable when erect because the shaft expands while that area doesn't seem to move as freely.
There are small gaps or pockets around the attached area where a white crumb-like material sometimes collects. It can have a strong odor, but the odor improves after washing. I haven't noticed pus, significant redness, or other signs of infection.
My main concerns are:
Whether this is a foreskin adhesion, tight foreskin, or something else.
Whether it could affect my sexual function in the future.
Whether it is likely to stay this way or require treatment.
I've had it since childhood and don't remember it ever being completely normal or fully separated.
