I hit my favorite shell shop today and picked up a few gems for my collection- there isn’t much more that brings me this level of wonder and joy

This recipe was not terribly complicated and turned out great- the relish accompaniment was delicious and truly added a bright and flavorful component to the dish. Don’t let all of the fresh jalapeños scare you off- this was not overwhelmingly hot! A summertime rotation entrant, for sure.

This was a complete win! I cheated a bit and used frozen shrimp, still absolutely delicious. I also followed a commenter’s suggestion and did a quick crema with avocado, sour cream, lime and sriracha to top it off. The shredded red cabbage gave a nice little crunch and more color, too.
