I’m trying to save up to move out- charities, police, social services and school has done nothing to help me.
in my last 18 years I’ve been abused mentally, physically, financially and emotionally by my parents, ex partners and friends. I’m trying to save out or at the very least get enough money to relocate so I can move to a city and continue education.
as a SEN person, only a few places are able to accommodate my needs. due to mental health, I’ve been unable to finish my studies. on top of having a chronic illness and special needs, I work full time but give the money to my parents who are struggling to support my sisters and I.
As I’m 19 this year I have to resit my studies as a mature student, and pay for that as well as communing to and from the collage which is a 2 hour public transport journey. my collage are unable to help me more as I don’t live in their vicinity.
I plan to leave work, move out and start a new life. My parents spend the money I give them on alcohol anyway, so I’m sure they won’t suffer.
my aim is to save up this money so I can move out. once being able to move out, it’ll open doors for me to be supported financially by my collage and local council, as well as escaping an abusive household.
