I have this rubber plant from my late grandmother. I remember it being a lot more vibrant and having plenty of leaves, but by the time I started taking care of it, the soil was dry as a rock and it was in a state similar to the one seen in the pictures. I added some new soil and mixed it with the old after breaking it up at the end of last year, and have been watering it about once a month during the winter, but it still isn't doing very well. It also sits at the far end, away from the window, of a well lit west facing room, but isn't in direct sunlight. How can I save it while also propagating new plants from it, if that's even possible at this stage? Do I make cuttings from the two branches with leaves on them and put them in water? If I just cut down the main stem, will it start producing new shoots? I really have no idea where to begin with this and any help will be appreciated! Thank you!
