Does it still get taxed when you are deployed on an op and tax free? ...it wuld make sense.. Im going soon and people have told me yes and no.. whose right?

Paying rent in a crazy expensive positing location when gone sucks enough, yes the deployment will be way more money than not going but its still a lot. If CFHD is untaxed that would at least help
